Richardson Projects have developed the following training programme to help replenish the existing skill shortages within the construction industry:
Each September we recruit at least 6 apprentices into disciplines such as joinery and bricklaying. To supplement their on-the-job training we also fund NVQ Levels 2 & 3 which involves day release at college.
Each year we recruit a number of trainees in the Quantity Surveying, Estimating and Buying departments. The trainees study for either O.N.C, H.N.C. or Degree qualifications. There are regularly opportunities for trainees to progress to more senior positions within the company subsequent to obtaining the necessary qualifications and experience.
